Michèle Lamy is the muse to Rick Owens on both a professional and personal level. The women behind the eccentric style and gold teeth so happens to be deeply intelligent and incredibly friendly ( yours truly got to see her in full action a few weeks ago during a Rick Owens party in Paris at Chez Francois). Amongst her many interests is her recent learning of the Arabic language and manuscript which is totally an obsession plus the art of cabaret channeling Eartha Kitt. The apple does not fall far from the tree when it comes to art and expression Michèle Lamy’s daughter Scarlett Rouge recently unveiled an installation described as being in a womb like state dream at the Rick Owens atelier .Women like Michèle Lamy are important to celebrate as she is an advocate for diversity and social tolerance of those who are different because after all what is supposed to be normal in a society?
